sorry guy's i dont know any more than i asked but the source is genuine and very very relaible
from discussion he told me to stand by !! as its going to be cheaper model to tamora(mine) and smaller engined, i dont know if s6 engine sorry he wasnt specific but def said would be in class of elise/exige etc

30k and "just" 300bhp would be my preference as an ideal entry level model. well heres hoping , i have always felt a cheaper 20-25k model .. sort of and update griffith would be nice and thus get tvr name out, smaller ,more nimble,less powerful ( to allow women to be happy)car and nicely finished maybe just not so rough and manly
maybe that market is saturated with similar cars but something that can get people talking as well as buying as could be the bread and butter car tvr need..only my opinion u understand. and dread the thought it maybe have abs on it !!

For years I've thought that a £20K entry level TVR - in the same niche as the 'S' - would be a good idea.
But I was told that it took the same number of man-hours to make a £20K car as it did to make a £40K one, which was why they built the latter.
If this is a Smolenski move, I think it's a good one. (But only if it has a V8, not some turboed-up Jap tiddler)

£20-25K 200BHP and very lightweight but still suitable for occasional touring.
That would suit a lot of TVR owners.
It seems there are a lot of us that track our cars and take them on "holidays/Le Mans/Pistonfest/race meets" type excursions.
A spec similar to an Elise with a bigger boot would be great.
Smaller engine? Perhaps the i-VTEC instead of Toyotas VVTLi.
(Not that there is anything wrong with the Toyota block but if they are going into Elise territory we'd need to argue about something on the forums!).

How about 25k?
Strangely I sort of like the Nissan 350Z, the 280bhp engine from that car would go quite well in a TVR I reckon.....

toyota will need all theyre engines for the new supra due out early-mid next year if i recall right
either way heres hoping jeremy clarkson wont even look at it as its only acheapo !! he wouldnt want to park his rich bum in it i reckon lol

No, but Marcos are still using the RV8, a more powerful version than the TVRs had too.
