TVR in the snow!

First time out in the snow in the Griff this evening! Fortunately it was not sticking so roads not really that slippy, just a white car

Some people drive like eejits in the bad visibility though - nearly got driven into twice by lemming drivers!

I got defeated by a slight rise in the road out of my street once. The other cars in the cul de sac had compacted it and no amount of trying got me out. Had to resort to the festa

Tried driving my Griff when there was a tiny bit of snow on the road last year and I live on a hill, didn't get very far so swiftly gave up. 300+lbs/ft of Torque, not much weight and wide tyres don't make for good progress in slippery conditions!!

Good fun in car parks though!!

Last winter I was out in the Griff with a splitter fitted, after doing snow plough impressions it didn’t stay fitted for long.

I've taken it off now.

Don't think I would fancy taking the Tam out in the snow! By the way, what's a "splitter"?

It’s a strip of ally (in my case) to improve cooling and high speed stability. Was standard fit on Griff’s and I think Chim’s but most get ripped off and forgotten about.

Not worth it - did 4 month in last one without the ice light ever being out. Ice / snow TVR = HUGE rot on std Shitting rustproofed chassis! Build Quality - Smonenski should sort the chassis's out then the engines.

Saw you today on Cox Moor. (Steve Red Golf)..but was in the luxury of me TT. Girly car, but comfortable in the snow) It was slippy along there this morning.
