Thought that there may be some news up here by now. But guess no one wanted to pay the £45 or so for tonight.

Off there myself as well tomorrow.

I popped in there today. No new news (four new cars there but no news in a press release type way), but the first evidence of the boat thing.

Talked to Ben Samuelson who explained the score. There aren't going to be TVR boats, it's just a joint marketing agreement with Bladerunner who make f*** off fast boats. Apparently this one is £150K and can do 80mph.

TVRs will be shown at boat shows and Bladerunners will be shown at car shows. Makes sense - creates a sense of excitement, gives each brand anther dimension.

Earlier in the week I got the story (from elsewhere) on the Orgasmic Living thing. Apparently NS owns a brand of clothing called Orgasmic and that will be introduced into the mix at some point too. Hence "Orgasmic Living" isn't just a random phrase slapped on the side of the cars but part of a wider marketing strategy. Makes more sense now even if it isn't the greatest slogan in marketing history.

Sorry, I don't know much about boats. Just to get me started, is this the lightweight lower power entry level model everyone's been waiting for ?

Does this mean we'll get a free Orgasmic tee shirt with the new car....

Oi Al, I was about to reply! (no harm in a TVR specific thread)

No Pauline, apparently it's currently a bottle of champagne and some blackpool rock in the shape of a dildo (I'm not joking!).

I thought Terry Grant's Tamora went "bang" today because it looked like they were mopping up oil after it was pushed from the arena. But he was back in action at the end so i guess it was ok.

Also, I was told that TVR are opening a TVR managed flagship showroom/service centre in central London.

**** me, what has TVR come down to? That's pathetic. Talk about devaluing a brand. It's bloody Footballer's Wives isn't?
