There's a Seven with and AJP8, and a Chim. I reckon a Noble M400 would be an interesting recipient- no significant power increase, but much much lighter.

Sagaris. The engine's character would perfectly match that of the car (or at least what it was supposed to be), while the Cerbera - in more than one way a modern-day reincarnation of a classic DB-series Aston - somehow feels a better match with the Speed Six to me (sacrilege for the hardcore Cerberati, I know).

I'd put one into an LS-converted Cerbera.

I'm sure I've seen that car in the flesh, just can't remember where.
After reading all the threads on replacement engines and mods I thought the AJP Would be perfect in the Chimeara.
is the AJP heavier than the RV8?

The ajp is the lighter of the two, by how much not 100%

Steve Howard ran a couple of mk1 escorts with full race ajps in them, the green one raced with us in the TVR challenge in 2011 and 12. Clarkson raced the green one too. SH was the Top Gear technology centre for several years.

Thanks Scotty, here we go again,,,,,, so what's a good power output of a road going AJP8

Do they rev abit higher than the RV!

I just can't see how you can get 400hp + to work in a Chim so the AJP might suit it really good.

Alan, Yeah, happy days....8-/ I had a Mk1 Mexico in pale blue (re-sprayed with new front wings) and new white Stripes........sold it for what I thought was a good price in 1980 (£1500), then picked up a MK 2 Mexico and had to sell it in 82 when I went overseas with the RAF for £2K.........what are they worth now????

Happy Days with a Tamora......8-))
