Hi all I will be driving through France in the next three weeks in my Griff 500 for a short break in the South of France.
A couple of questions
1. Do I need to do anything with my headlights and if so what?
2. Has anyone had a problem with taking a TVR to France before.

I'm not bothering when I go. They are only French people, and I'll be too drunk to drive at night!

If you are anywhere near the Loire or Bordeaux regions, watch out for an Imperial Blue Griff 500 with a very sad looking silver Chimp trying to keep up behind me. I'll be easy to spot - my headlights will blind you!

you need headlight deflectors, spare set of bulbs, and a warning triangle

How the hell do you fit deflectors to a cerb with the new smaller lights - there's no markings on the light glass to indicate the area to cover. I think I'll just 'push' the lights over to put the full beam onto right (drivers) side and drive with them on all the time, I'll be in the Wetern Loire in mid August, what about everyone else?

That's half the boot filled then!

One less case of Chateau Lafitte returning to Cheshire.
