Carbon fibre dash

I know quite a few forum members have fitted carbon fibre replacement dash's in various TVR's, i'm considering the same course of action in my Griff ( the std wood finish as cracked/split and is now coming off in large pieces), My questions to anyone having completed this job are, what thickness carbon sheet was used, where is the best place to obtain said sheet and what glue should i be using, also any other "top tips" would be most welcome , cheers

Budd,
As Tiger says BB's site has all you need to know. Doing the job yourself gives you the opportunity to change the vents if they are not your cup of tea

Must admit one thing I wished I had done was like David had and changed the Vents, and maybe the light warning panel too.

A very satisfing job when done though.

I've just done mine in a Griff
Used very thin carbon fibre sheet glued to 5mm plywood.
Repositioned the small gauges, changed the warning lights, fitted new aluminium switches,changed the air vent.
And it looks bloody great !!!

wear gloves - when I did mine I was picking tiny splinters from my mitts for several days afterwards.
Oh and be prepared to get through lots of drill bits, jigsaw blades etc.

I plan on changing the vents (including the N/S passenger one so all three match) a local TVR owner (Carl Caldwell) makes them, I do like the warning light detail on davidn's dash , who supplies these?
