Hi All,

I'll be taking my '95 Griff down to the Le Mans Classic this year (first Euro trip) and am wondering what spares to take.

Suggestions?

Cheers!

The list could be endless but the usual suspects are :-

Spacesaver wheel/can of tyreweld as is your preference
100 amp fuse(s)
Serp belt/fan belt depending on what you have
Fuel/ecu relays + standard 40amp relay
Bulb/General Fuse kit
Cable ties,insulation/gaffa tape,lucar(spade) connectors + crimps
Wire for testing/bypassing electrical issues
Rotorarm
Oil/brake fluid

basic tools to test/change belts, bulbs & fuses etc

....and a yellow day-glo jacket that meets the French Regs?

(probably more stuff, but someone will be along shortly?)

Technically you need two in France but there is as yet no penalty for no compliance. Probably worth carrying them if just to avoid extra grief if you get stopped.

Remember that when you lift the bonnet...inside (as far as mr eu is concerned) its a Range Rover!
so ig amps, coils, plugs, leads fuel pumps, relays etc etc are off the shelf.
take any tvr specifics you can think of, but I ( and several others) did north of 29k on the continent with few issues.
have fun!!!!
Blimey, I miss the Griff forum.

Warning triangle, best put on a parcel shelf or similar, it is supposed to be easy to get to in an emergency, apparently...

I did just shy of 3000 miles around Europe with nothing more than a 13mm socket and a few screwdrivers! & I only needed to use one screwdriver to take out 2 screws and to put them back again.

People need to have more faith! wink In Trevor I trust driving
