TVR Sagaris to feature on TV

Documentary shows villains trying to nick it.

TVR's new race-bred model the Sagaris is to feature in a TV documentary. Using ex-villains and ex-police officers, the programme, called The Heist, gets the villains to pretend to attempt to steal the car -- though what the outcome is, TVR spokesman Ben Samuelson was unable to say. "All will be revealed when you see the programme", he said.

He didn't comment on the suggestion that it was a test to see how good TVR car security is.

The programme is on at 9pm, C4, Tuesday 14 December 2004.

Perhaps they didnt actually break in to it, preferring to just slide in through panel gaps...

easy to get in but probably would not be able to get out of it, unless it was a dry day, slammed the doors shut, tweeked the solenoid, wind was blowing in the right direction etc etc

Or maybe they're still working out what colour to have it painted, and how to trim it!

So they break in and steal it, how far before they need a breakdown service or engine rebuild? and as for inconspicuous..... it's hardly a stealth bomber

Find car = 30 seconds.
Break into car = 45 seconds.
Attempt to drive off = 10 seconds.
Wait for engine to be fitted into car = 6 months.

Shouldn`t be a problem,if there`s only one then there won`t be any call for secondhand parts.Maybe it`s got a fully paid up Tracker subsription-don`t even go there!!And no she never got the car back.
Programme should be worth watching though-hope Lady Sagaris polished up well after all that totty sprawling across her at Max Power.

I suppose they could just turn up with an AA truck and tow it away and nobody would think anything out of the ordinary!
