I am going to need a re-spray next year and am looking for recommendations, good or bad, of body shops in the Bristol area. I have met Jason Web in Nailsea and he seems like a ‘nice chap’ but has anyone any experience of his handiwork?

I used Ewelme Coachworks for my Cerbie's headlamp upgrade, earlier this year. Included a front end repaint, and I was very pleased with the quality of their work. Give Paul or Jon a call..very nice chaps...and they wont give you the 'hard sell' neither!

I had the service bonnet on my Tuscan resprayed after it parted company with the car on the motorway. Peninsula in Exeter dealt with the spraying and did a first class job - as with all their work.

I'm pleased to hear good things about Peninsula's spraying, as we're going to get the stone chips sorted in the spring, and as we use, and are very happy with them for all our other tiv needs, were going to use them.

I live in the South West (well,, Gloucester way), and I shall be using Ewelmes next year for my front end re-spray, I did have it booked for this November at a more 'local' bodyshop, but after asking many times for someone to ring me for a quote, and getting nowhere, they seemed suprised I didn't bring my car up on the booked date!! Hence Ewelmes!

TVRBodyshop did my Griff front end in Feb (the usual stone chip problem) did a good job on mine.
If you need any mechanical work done tho i would suggest Penninsula.

They did a front end repair and respray on my three month old T350C, the nose was split from one side of the air intake to the other, so it was not just a spray job.

It was A1, as I would expect. Would go there again, no doubt.

{edited to say:} The pic's post-repair, BTW!

Jason did and front and rear light conversion for me back in April which included pretty much respraying everything bar the doors, bonnet and boot. My Griff's Halcyon Atlantis (flip flop) and have had absolutely no problems. Definetly recommend them.
