Dear Friends and Participants of the 3NG2014 in Rastatt,

I hope that you have arrived home safely and without hiccup.

In the name of the Organisational Team / Volunteers, I would like to thank you for your participation at the 18th TVR 3NG 2014 in Rastatt / Ettlingen.

TVR has never been represented by so many vehicles in the German speaking region before. From 116 registered participants we had in total 107 TVR’s at the 3NG 2014, more than ever before at any TVR event in the German speaking region.

Special thanks go to my hard working colleagues Beate, Christiane, Andrej, Christian, Dominik, Kalle, Konrad, Markus, Patrick and Steve. Without whom the arrangement of such an event, let alone actually bringing it together and making it work would not have been possible!

Very special thanks also go to Nick Bitzani, for his excellent technical service throughout the event. Where else could we TVR’s find repairs or even welders at Whitsun in Germany?!

To the Team of Bar 61, I would like to thank for the quite amazing style and the great support on Saturday. Your Café & Service was excellent...!

Again also thanks to our main Sponsor ‘Capri-Sonne’ for the donated supply of drinks in the Palace Court of Honour on Saturday, and for the drives on Sunday.
At this juncture I would like to remind you all about our photo-competition 'TVR’s & Capri-Sonne', to get our sponsor a few nice pictures.

If you want to take part, please send the Pictures to: capri-sonne@tvriders-blackforest.com

I want to give my sincere thanks to the following people:

Howard & Heather – who gave me very moving moments, with their "White Elephant" and the special "No. 3" Piston Trophy.

Bruno Meier - who told a few stories about a certain Black Forest inhabitant in his speech - I really had the feeling, I knew that guy from somewhere biggrin

Dietrich Probst – who travelled all the way from Vienna in the last TVR Development Vehicle, to show us the Cerbera D6 in the plastic

ACS pro - Eckhard Pohlmann – for donating the "Best Car Of The Show" trophy, that we were honoured to present.

Han - for the S-Series Eurotour Tophy present.

Hotel RadissonBlu - for the great BBQ & Banquet, as well as the remarkable service during our stay.

Residenzschloss Rastatt – for giving us the permission to use the ‘court of honor’ as part of our event.

Lehner's Wirtshaus - for the delicious food and the diligent service on Saturday evening.

Just a few words in their own right:

In my role as an organiser, I was unfortunately not able to spend as much time with each of you, as I would have wanted.
I hope that we will have the time, to make up for this at another meeting. Thank you for your understanding...!

If someone would like me to include their pictures from the 3NG2014 for our archive, please send them on CD/DVD - I would be very happy to do so...!

I hope you liked the 3NG and that we will see you again at other meetings.

...and at last also a big thank you to Steve who done the translation work for me :-)

Kind regards

Chris Willy

You wouldn't have enjoyed it Martin - 5 days hard driving with the S boys and girls, great hotels, lovely food... no, definitely NOT your sort of thing wink

Thanks for the great event ! We really enjoyed the weekend and the days we spent in the Black Forest afterwards and seriously considering Austria next year. David and Debbie.

And a big thanks to Jools who drove down from Chesterfield to map my ECU the day before we left.

Thanks Chris Willy for all your hard work and the Cambridge Group for allowing Mr & Mrs Precat to tag along.
We had a great eleven days.
It's not only about great cars and scenery but more importantly for us, great people.
Thanks for supporting us having one of the greatest holidays we've had in my TVR.

Ian....I know. A local chap, Phil van Neevil(?) has been going regularly to this event.
Always a conundrum - Le Mans/Spa/Zolder or this, and as much as I'd like to do them all, funds won't permit. So, I like to do a different continental run each year, perhaps in rotation?

This year a few of us are going to Angouleme in September for Les Circuits des Remparts. So my comment was selfish, I guess, to remind me to get organised for the 3NG(2015)!!
