I am looking to replace all my lines with braded hoses, rather than just the 4 short ones from the chassis to each caliper.

Question is, what size thread are the fittings ?

On my 1993 Griff, all but one are the same size...the odd one being the male that screws into the valve near the diff, while the others are female as per the size that would mate with a male on the end of either flexi line.

Thanks if anyone knows.

On my 2000 W Reg Chim all the male ends are 3/8 UNF and the all the female ends M10. There are 5 of each used.

The adapter that goes into the front of the bias valve above the diff accepts one of the M10 female ends and then screws into the valve with, I think, an M12 thread (but I'm not 100% sure unfortunately).

However, I looked at doing this during my body off refurb as well and was advised against it. There are a few bends and corners that the braided line won't be flexible enough to make. Plus, as its braided, it needs to be securely attached to the chassis. NOT cable ties. That would mean drilling the chassis and riveting (I presume) some cable tidies/holders. Personally I didn't like that idea with a nice, freshly powder-coated chassis. If just a small part of one hole isn't fully sealed it will allow moisture in and the chassis would eventually rot from the inside out.

With some care and patience some Kunifer pipe is still perfect for the job. Although I appreciate it was much easier for me as the body was off.

Hope that helps smile
