Just been told by my dealer that Halcyon Midas pearl is no longer available for new cars
Pity, as this was my first choice for a T350.
Other changes are that Crystal topaz has been replaced by Spectraflair topaz, not one of my choices but a choice TVR colour IMO.
But what a nighmare choosing a colour!, it's actually easier to be given a choice rather than anything you like (except Halcyon midas and Crystal topaz of course )

I have to admit that if ever I buy a brand new TVR, I would choose a 'base' colour, either yellow or red, I know that the Formula Red I had on my Chim was very resistant to stone chips, plus getting it touched up wasn't a problem,, plus it doesn't fade as quickly as the pearlescent paints,,, however, that if you have your sensible head on, and how many of us have that when we choose TVR!! lol

Well I have a Sagaris on order in Halcyon Midas and the neither the factory or my dealer have not told me thats it's not available.

I guess it must be the same dealer who told customers that the Sagaris and Tuscan two were not going to be produced................

Don't worry Sportie, I am told it does not effect existing orders, so you will have quite an exclusive Sagaris by the sound of it
I had looked at the possibility of taking a car that was already in build or from stock in that colour.

We have a TVR on order in Halcyon Midas........and it won't be a problem.

However it is correct that Halcyon Midas is no longer available on new orders.

I always thought that TVR would spray a car in any shade you like.
How can they say "no you can't have it that colour"
Whos paying for the car eh??
I want my next new Tiv to be Midas Yellow!!!
Soon they will be telling us that we can only have Anthrashite wheels(imho)

Ooooo.....now there's an interesting comment!!!!!!!

Could it be Dave is hankering after a new mistress and one that may be labelled with a Saggy Arse

Mmmmmm ... ..will have to think up a new forum name if you sell the beloved T350.......

Thanks, but it is a T I'm after, plus I've heard all sorts about that particular dealer. I know the Gatwick dealer still have the motorshow car, but it is old spec/price.

Sunset pearl is an alternative but doesn't look quite as stunning as Halcyon in sunlight. My second choice is Lamborghini Arancio atlas which is a pearl.

Thanks once again, but this one is also old price/spec and too much yellow on the interior (can't please everyone!)

Hi.. my Sagaris ordered in Halcyon midas pearl not so long ago and no probs there... A good alternative would be Lambo's pearl yellow which looks very similar... even Ferrari will let you have any paint on the new F430 now and have gone as far as saying that you could even supply the pot of paint...

Ah 'tis a shame there will be no more halycon midas TVRs made. In my humble (and biased) opinion it was the best

guess that puts pay to TVR's old "you can have any colour you want Sir ..." or the "I want it in the same colour as my Ski Boots" advertising.

Candy Apple red .. Thats what you need... I understand the Yanks also offer Candy Apple Yellow too .. very similar to Halycon Midas so I believe
