Good point.. along with so many others I have heard of the straight 6 BMW engine fitted to the Cerbs but none that have posted their results (unless the booze has blurred my vision).. out of curiosity, why did you go for a 4.6 and not a 5.0 in your Cerb.. what were the considered benefits and what is the current power in comparison to the AJP.. not being difficult just genuinely interested..

I had access to a new crossbolted 4.6 block and some very good large valve heads. One of my previous TVRs was a 5 ltr Griff and it always seemed to be less smooth than the 4 or 4.3. The engine was built to give 300 hp, lots of torque but more importantly, it had to be a more relaxing drive than with the AJP because it is used everyday in traffic to and from work and also on school runs. The car has been on the rolling road but only to create the ECU map, so its not had any power runs yet, but has shown we've achieved our goal.
The car was obviously not built as a performance boost, but to make a more reliable and user friendly package for the type of driving I do. I have to say its really nice to drive a Cerbera on a huge wave of torque. The sound and feel of a Griff but with room for the kids.

He's been 'about to finish' it for months.. at least that's what he told me in September.
Did you notice if the body was off my Tuscan yet??
The fastest (Tuscan Eating) Wedge on the planet
We'll be taking the White Elephants chassis there in a couple of weeks so I'll happily keep an eye out for you..

By the way (sticking to the thread) the racing Wedge at Richard Thorpes is in the process of having a 660bhp Nascar engine fitted which will then be fuel injected & chipped to give it around 750bhp..
