I've deliberately not resurrected the previous thread on this. Anybody going to admit to being a sniper or are we just going to have to wait and see?

I went to see it this morning. Basically, it's just a tatty bodyshell sitting on a pile of rusty metal. I'm not interested in bidding but I have most of the parts needed to restore it, if anyone should be mad enough to try

£427.89 it went for! Add another £8000.00 for the bits that are missing or need replacing (if you can find them) and you'll have a fair car

I take it you are on about the one JohnnyBigPants had a good go at winning on e-bay.

I honestly hope that the guy who won it gets it restored.

Yep, about £300 too much! Didn't even have a bonnet badge

I've thrown better 'cars' in the skip before.

If anyone wants to buy a 1979 Taimar, complete less engine, let me know before I 'ebay it' in the new year.

It was a 3000M once-upon-a-time. I have all the bits you'd need to make it into one again, but the costs involved wouldn't be worth it. I wonder what the buyer intends to do with it?
