I must say that Neill was one of the most helpful people I met at TVR and always willing to stop and chat at track days and at motor shows. To me it is one more person responsible for the Wheeler era cars gone and that's bad news. When you say TVR left him should I assume he didn't have anything bigger lined-up? Rich...
If we'd been allowed to make the Cerbera 12 exactly as it should've been it would've been far more competitive...
Neill should also be remembered for the chassis/suspension of most successful TVRs - up to Tuscan. His contribution was considerable - though I think even he'd admit that he could be an awkward bugger at times!

I believe the cost factor came in alot with the Speed 12.

I mentioned teh brain drain to several people early on in the buyout of TVR, and mourned the passing of the team that made TVR what it is today ..
what I hope is that Peter Wheeler, John Ravenscroft and Neil Anderson set up a rival company to TVR making no-nonsense affordable high performance cars that look great and sound fantatsic and go like stink.
We can do without the complicated electrics, the fragile home brew 6 cyl engines thankyou .. what we need is :
2 seats
under 1000kg
4valve heads on the AJP8 engine (buy the design off TVR, they don't want it)
zeroshift gearbox
under 30k pounds.

Very Interesting! A Christmas Card PR stunt is all we have heard out of TVR since the buyout. This does not sound good. I have rung to speak to Neill twice recently and was not told he had left, and was put onto his voice mail. I asked directly this am and was told "Yes he has left for the moment".
What the h*** does that mean?
If Neill visits PH could he clarify what's going on in Blackpool, because TVR sure aren't telling us the whole story.
