Anyone know of somewhere other than a dealer that can supply and fit these things (know they are supposed to be fiddly) - one of them has gone and I don't really want to be making a 3 hour round trip to Hexham to sort them. Cheers,
PP

P.S I'm in the Middlesbrough area if that's any help (it usually isn't )

If it’s just the bulb that’s gone you can do it yourself. I’ve changed one of mine and although it was a bit fiddly it was actually less fiddly than changing a headlight bulb in my friend’s old Astra. There are instructions in the manual. You will need somebody to help you take the bonnet off. The bulb itself can be bought from any car accessories place. My local Halfords was sold out but I found one easily at a store called TMC.

Thanks for the advice/help guys. Didn't even bother looking at the manual as I assumed it would be the same carry on that you have with a Cerbera. Obviously it's a different method.

Anyway, the car is going back to Hexham this week, so they'll be able to sort it out for me. Got to sell it to help pay forthcoming tax bill .

Got meself a Land Rover Freelander as my method of transport in the meantime.

Is HHC at Harrogate nearer than HHC Hexham?

Falcon Engineering who I think are near Yarm look after a number of TVRs, unfortunately I haven't got a number for them here.

It's 6 and 2 3's really. However I've been dealing with Tony and the gang at Hexham since I got my first tvr (4 years ago) so feel better dealing with them anyway. Have tried Falcon Engineering once (Skippers Lane Industrial Estate, M'bro) but had a bit of a bad experience with them.
