After some opinions of people have done their own outriggers please, the sleeves that weld into the outriggers for the wishbone mounts, do you think it would be better to mark remove and drill tube then weld it up or weld outriggers all in then drill in situ?
Thanks Graeme

Your best bet is to buy the outriggers ready made. They will come with that tube already fitted. All you do is fit a suspension bolt and the insert from an old (or new) suspension bush and tighten up. This will corrctly position things before welding everything in place.

Alternatively give the whole job to us.

So I have a new, still wrapped up set going spare...if anyones interested?

Hi, just wondering if anyone knows if the bottom of the outriggers are level with the bottom of the chassis?

In a word no.

If you look at the pic, the middle outrigger is level with the chassis but the front is not, and its hard to see the rear, but again i dont think its level.

The outrigger rail sits about 6-8mm higher than the bottom of the chassis rails.
An offcut of laminate flooring makes a nice spacer/gauge.

An S is much higher than that being about 30mm.

Hi, I put mine at 3mm above which seemed to make the outer rail level with the middle brace (which I just sleeved) and was wanting some conformation
