Latest EVO mag - "Brilliant new Tuscan 2" tested!

I picked up the latest issue of Evo on my way back from work today, and what a cracking issue it is! They compare the Tuscan S II to the new Corvette and MG SV-R, and they are very impressed. In fact, they reckon it's "probably the best car that TVR have ever made".

Even though the I still don't really like the new interior, it is starting to grow on me

Oh dear. Having decided the sept issue was so see-rap (IMHO, disclaimer, etc.) I would never buy another, does this mean I have to try again?

But don't all the journos say that about each new TVR, I recall Jethro Bovington saying the same about the T350 a while back, but can't complain when it easily wins the group comparison though

I mentioned this point to the publisher when I cancelled my subsciption following a Stuttgart overload but they didn't seem too bothered saying that the main reason people subscribe is the convenience of having it delivered, I thought it was getting it a few days early? At £3.95 they really need to get their act together. Anyway I just bought a copy in Smiths and will read it tonight. Rich...

I cancelled mine too - It often arrived after it was on the shelves ..

Now I have a look too see if it's worth buying.

Their loss I guess !

Mine normally arrives a few days before it appears on the shelves, I would not subscribe if it didn't. I don't subscribe to Autocar for this reason.

But the Vette was similar in the speed department to the S with 400kg more to pull around. Makes you wonder what won of those engines (loads more torque) in a 1100kg TVR would be like!
