Are the Leven "upgraded" chrome badges for front and rear of the car better than original TVR replacements?
Thinking about getting a new set as the current ones look a bit tatty (or is it that I just want to spend money on it?!?)

Don't forget you can have the infill coloured (they matched mine to my car) for the same price

The bits between the letters? Hmm, don't suppose you have any close up shots do you?

You wont after a year or so... damn things fall apart and get sh*t in them...

Got some Leven ones on order... going for an infill to match the colour of the car...

The ones on the S were looking a bit tatty… filled with bits of polish and stuff too…

The ones on the Chim (factory original and 5 years old) aren't fairing that well… especially the rear one where some of the infill is falling apart...

Leven ones are far better - lot less time tw@tting around trying to get the polish out - like with the old ones

Thanks for the pictures. So, the infill is just the stripey bits in the letters? Wouldnt they look better in black?

no the badges are chromed then black paint ( or what ever colour you want ) applied and then resin coated all over the paint and chrome...lovely. eg: if you have the Chim badge for the back you cannot feel the lettering as it is covered by the resin coating.

Another benefit is when opening the Cerb boot with your knee it's less painfull with a smooth covering

Hmm, I'm still not totally convinced I prefer the look of the Leven ones, from the pic it looks to me like they may look a bit too coated in lacquer. Think i need to see some in the erm chrome before i buy them.

Leven badges are great - until you realise that getting your car washed by the local "from £4.99" place uses chemicals which cause the badge to seperate over time - oops, now much the wiser!!

Still think the coloured in and filled in badges from Leven look so much better than the standard TVR ones
