Dear All
I’m embarking on researching what’s involved in TVR (S) ownership and have been in contact with the TVR Club regarding the Bristol branch and their monthly meetings, as I hoped to come along and ask some stupid questions, sorry seek some friendly advice. According to the club the Bristol branch does nt have an area rep at the moment but I was wondering if the owners still met up at the Willy Wicket on the 3rd Sunday or somewhere else on a regular basis, if so where and when?
Thanks in anticipation.
DickieH

If your serious about purchasing an "s" l would firstly move your post to the "s" forum you will get more feed back, then for £50 a year join the TVRCC . you may not agree with how the club gets run as like many on here but you get a great monthly magazine and discounts to tonnes of car shows every year . You can get your money alone by attending the Silverstone classic each year.

Hi DickieH - welcome to the TVR forum. We don't meet at the WW regularly as at the moment we typically go for impromptu drives/meets communicating via our Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/539155626100231/

You're welcome to join and meet up with us to help in your prospective purchase - myself and one or two others buy the odd project car to sell on and have done a couple of 'S's in the last couple of years as well as Chims/Wedges.

Whereabouts are you based?

Regards, Paul.

A few of us usually pop down if the weather is good (I think it was a 60 mile blast last time...).

What is you budget for an 'S' and any preference ie S1,2,3,4.. (I know of a BRG V8S a Bristol member has which may be for sale at the upper end of the S budget whereas another Bristol member has 2 or 3 'project' S's (although not sure if for sale...).

Regards, Paul.

The V8S is an excellent car and holds its value too. In my opinion the V8S is the one to go for but dont discount the Chimaera either. The Griff will be a bit more expensive to purchase.
