No, it's an aftermarket curry hook.

Hi Al,
there was a Chim at the griff growl, which was either the first or second casr to recieve the upgrade. The owners were there too and seemed to be very pleased with it.

I understand it's based on a 5.0 mate?

wouldn't mind being proved wrong though

Al, I thought you loved Chim's just the way they are?
Why not go for the 450HP Chevaka upgrade

Well they say a change is as good as a rest!

I think I've come to the conclusion that

1) Big Cobra not really water tight, full race harness
As you know miggy is pretty well endowed! "Twin Peaks" springs to mind!
2) Tuscan MK1 S6 engine. Nuff said.
3) Tuscan MK2 too new for me it needs to get some miles under it's belt.

So I think it's gonna be a 5ltr Chim with an eventual upgrade to the Taraka engine spec if I feel comfortable with it.

So if you know anybody that want's an imaculate LOUD 4.0 ltr Chim in Crimson Starmist. see classifieds.

Al,
Had a seat in the Taraka Chim whilst at TVR Power with the Northants Region visit last November.
Yes, it is based on the 5.0l engine.
Totally awesome, the pull even in 5th was stonking! Dom and his boys really know their engines, and v. nice people to talk to.

Yeah but when I say I want a change, I get told off!

Actually I don't really want to change, it's just that I need a sports/performance car where I can squeeze two littluns in the back seat!

The Cerbera, although sleek and elegant, isn't for me.

Btw - did you reply to my second e-mail? I can't access my personal account from work

500 Serpentine to be more specific.

Had a chat with TVR Power at PistonFest and a look over the car. Definitly looks like a good idea. They rebuild the engine too so if mine ever goes pop I'll be straight up there.

Paddy on here has had it done - good for 30 - 40bhp I think from Power(TVR). He was well happy with it but as said it is based on the 500 lump in th first place. If you want real power 340 (LS1) or 405+ (LS6 or 2) then as trev said the LS route make more sense. You could sell your engine to offset a big chunk of the cost - if interested let me know.

How much power is just right, varies from one person to another!
