Hi Everyone,

I have just purchased a TVR Chimaera fitted with a wooden steering wheel - Does anyone know who manufactures this wheel in the attached picture ? I have looked on line and at masses of pictures, however I have not found this one !!

Thank you

Not quite the same but very similar to the one in our S3C - see pic below. I recall this is embossed "Personal"

The wheel in the top photo is a 'Personal' Monza wheel. I managed to get one a few years back in it's original box, it was a factory option and unfortunately is no longer manufactured.

Nice purchase Mr Mack.

I purchased one of those for my V8S and it arrived in a Nardi box. I removed it though as whilst it is a beautiful wheel, it is a bit slippery in the summer.
Nardi had a tie up with Personal.

Nardi was a brand that was part of Personal but they split in the late '80s early '90s iirc. That said if you search for either you're directed to the same www.nardi-personal.com website so maybe Nardi now own Personal biggrin

I don't find the shiny wood to be at all slippy in summer. I'd want the same wheel again, perfect for this car IMHO.

thread revival!

THIS is the best wooden wheel I've ever seen in a TVR - can anyone help with the manufacturer/model of this particular one?

This is the interior and wheel of my 390SE. Although very lovely I think I'd rather have a leather trimmed one.
