Just trying to gauge interest. Having seen some of the current offerings, I'm thinking about making these again. These were generally regarded as very good value and very very well made.

So what do ya think?

LOL...Remember though lads....you seen proper dyno tested ones here first wink I can offer long cone ones now too smile It goes without saying that they will be the best out of all of them.

So as not to contravene PH rules, I'll advertise them in the classifieds as and when they are ready, if there is enough interest. They will be priced to be competitive wink

Come on chaps... Who can raise the bar along with their decats and create a free flowing exhaust that's also tuned for sound like Larini/Tubi do for ferrari. Titanium maybe biggrin

You know you want to.

scratchchin Who makes the best Sp6 Decat Pipes?...... Glossop or IoW?

There's only one way to find out........

( Independent observer who wishes he could afford a Sp6 in the first place wink But if I could, I'd support Dave 'coz he's local* )

  • Yes it probably reminds you of The League of Gentlemen, but what the heck?

Power/RG Sports exhaust AND decat is just a little too much IMO.
Certainly in the Tamora with the roof down, I toyed with idea a few years back, until following, then riding in a car with both.
I`m happy with just the power exhaust, maybe I`m getting old biggrin

WOW....Thanks for all the comments. The purpose of this thread was just to gauge interest and it would appear there is plenty. smile With regard to complete systems I will have to revisit a past project before I can offer any more info. I'll keep you all posted of developments smile

Ceri, your Tuscan has had its fair share of trials!!!! At one point it had an exhaust on it that was operating at 135dba. It made ones ears bleed, I had to take it off after a week as it was just far toooooooooo loud. Have you changed the exhaust cans? The cans it had on when I had it sounded great. They were experimental but they sounded so good I left them on.

Have to admit, I have always felt the same, too. I am sure I would feel too embarrassed driving something so noisy - more so when considering taking it on a Euro road trip...

Dave, rear cans are now Powertech sleeved carbon fibre with cats fitted and fairly loud (so the neighbours keep informing me hehe) still have your home made cans which had a very distinctive sound albeit a little on the quiet side so am toying with the the idea of de catting and re fitting these at some point to make a comparison.

Are there any disadvantages to de catting assuming the noise levels are reasonable ? idea

Your car was mapped by no other than John Ravenscroft to suit those decat pipes.
