Well you won't be too busy posting on here!

Sun is out, roads are dry, temperature barely above freezing.

Clearly we should all be out there enjoying it! Roof off (we'll let Cerberites off that one today!) consuming adequate quantities of Optimax!!!

In fact as there's nothing I absolutely have to do today - and stuff all the things I should do - I think I'll do just that!

Where to go, who to annoy? Oh so many choices in the world! Ahhhhh!

Rub it in why don't you whilst the masses are slaving away at work, first semi decent(ish) day since getting my Chim and I'm stuck in an office. No doubt the weekend will end up being another downpour again.... Enjoy your drive anyway

Well I had planned to be out. My intended route was to be Northallerton - Leyburn - possibly Hawes- back to Masham via Brymor ice cream parlour- Thirsk and home.
However, unforecast heavy rain last night followed by clear skies and sub zero temps have bu99ered that up. Gritter wagon went past house an hour ago, so I know that most local roads will have taken on that slimy demeanor we had for months prior to last weeks heavy rain and winds.
I'll see what happens mid afternoon. If the roads have dried up (there's no wind at all at the moment) then I'll go for a drive.

Well I've been out, 'roof off' all the way to Asda and back, it's still a bit slippy out there though even if the suns out

Well, for us lucky bu££ers, it's been great out there - saw one other TVR (A Griff, nearly missed waving because it was coming out of the low sun!), and a nice selection of other bits and bobs too.

Knackered, now I've had a force fed fresh air day! Here's hoping this weather stays up for a few days and everyone gets a good weekend! A bit of respite between the storms and flooding...

Had a blast home at lunchtime in the Cerb. The Ice warning light on mine doesn't work though, so I don't need to worry about icy roads

Another superb day today and yet again, I'm stuck in the office.

However, the forecast for the weekend (daan saaf at least) is dry: www.metcheck.com/48hrforecast.asp?lat=51.002&lon=-0.097&pc=RH16

Can't wait to fire the Chim up tomorrow morning for some icy cold targa-off driving

Does that happen a lot in your area?... You Griff drivers are all the same!

The cerb is sitting in the carpark winking up at me. Persistant little bugger, best go and let him out for a play.

Just got home from a 50 miles round trip. Not that far but enjoyed every minute.
I was a little lucky as some deer crossed in front of me. I was behind another car that wasn't so lucky. Only front bumber damage for them.

Be careful out there!

Finish work in 10 minutes. I have the Chim today and I'll take the roof off and the scenic route home. Didn't fancy roof off at 6.45 this morning!

I think that's why the kind council put the grit down as an audible warning.

Ah - mixed weather over the weekend, mostly damp around welsh borders were I've been. Result: one very dirty car!

Hope it turned out better for others! Found some not too crowded roads!

Had a couple of days off to finish some house DIY last week.

Not a lot got done when faced with a TVR on the driveway Some nice new silicone coolant hoses got fitted and it would have been rude not to see if they worked, wouldn't it?
