The man has taste !

I went for a CF dash and the same switches with blue back lighting. MIne are a bit bright though - need to turn the levels down.

you can fit resistors on the feed to the LEDS to dull them down, I bought a load and trial and error'd them

have you got yours wired in two stage so they are on dim constantly then light up when activated?

Wired into the side lights, on dim, then bright when activated.

yeah thats what I've done. That link you posted would have saved me some messing around, unfortunately they didn't do it at the time, good idea though. I had to just try loads of resistors

Same as you I did mine a few years ago, I bought a bag of resistors from Maplins and trialled them till I got it right, then CBS bought these out a couple of years ago...doh!!!
I'm re trimming my interior, it's an Ultima by the way, and I've bought the black satin finished switches and will be using these harnesses from CBS.
