I replaced the heat shield in my 4.3 Griff, with a similar type to the original, 3 years ago when I undertook a body off resto, but it has deteriorated significantly. I am about to install the engine (rebuilt) and am replacing the shield again.
Has anyone experience of Zircotec? Are their other materials that would give good protection and reasonable life expectancy? Would like to keep the original look therefor not interested in a gold finish.
Any advise would be appreciated.

I've got a bootful of stuff at Performance 1 Coatings at the moment. Graeme (Graham) is away at the moment but Linda (iirc) is in the office.

Left messages with both Zirotech and Performance 1 and only Performance 1 got back to me.

They are doing four manifolds, four decat pipes, a fuel rail, four engine mounts and two rocker covers for me.

Give them a ring - http://www.performance1coatings.com/

Thanks for advise but it is only the fabric that is applied to the inner wings that I am looking to replace at the moment. I will be giving thought to the manifolds treatment in the future.

Cheers.
