Hi Dave,

Sorry I didn't stop for a chat but I was in line for rollicking from my wife. Told her I was just going "round the block for 15 mins", got carried away and when I saw you I had been out for 2 hours. Good thing about driving a TVR in these situations is the wife always believes me when I tell her I broke down!

Don't live too far from you mate - live in Thurlaston. Incidentally a chap across the road from me has a red 4.5 Chim that you may have seen in the area.

I have seen a mica red one go passed my house, the other Saturday. Does it have a tan roof, if so could be the same one.

Don't see many trev's around about, sometimes follow a Halycon midas cerb with black spiders into Nuneaton on my way home.

Know what you mean about nipping out for a quick spin, usually involves having to fill up afterwards

Sounds like it the same car, it's on an S plate. If you review my postings you will see I met another local blue Chim owner in Cosby not too long ago.

Did a posting on the Midlands forum for local Cerby owners - didn't get one reply.

Do you attend the East Mids TVR club gatherings?

Hi again Daz,

I haven't made it to a E/Midlands meet yet, I tend to go to the W/Midlands since orginally come from the Coventry area. The E/Midlands always seem to be in the Notts direction an area I don't know too well.

The other guy is Discobob (blue chim) I believe, I know he has had his exhaust modified at Autotune and would like to have a listern to it sometime. Perhaps we could meet up and go to one of the meetings in the near future.

Does this mean they've finished the refurb? I've taken a few trips by, but it seemed to be going slowly.
Sutton Elms is my nearest Opti Shop and have been feeding the Tusc with BP ultimate. It'll be good to get back to the old juice.
Incidentally, I'm in Burbage.

Seems there is a bit of a South Leicester posse!

Pete - Yes Sutton Elm SS opened a week or two ago. My Cerby doesn't care too much for BP so I was having to travel to the A50 Groby Road which I think is the next nearest Shell station.

Dave - I rarely get to the East Mids meetings myself usually Sunday clashes with other things. However, I have been meaning to go to West Mids meeting as it is closer, do they meet at the Bull at Meriden off the A 45?

Disco bob - Hi again.

Yes Daz,

That's the place, they meet the 3rd Sunday of the month (12 o'clock). I was just going to post that we all get together and go in convoy to one of the meets or go for a blast round about.

Hi Bob,

the 13th feb sounds good for a trip out. Will have to check we have nothing on that day.

How about we all meet up somewhere local and make the trip up. Be good to see another meet and other cars, plus the drive up with other sensible like minded folks.
