TVR Power offers V8 intake upgrades

Get more grunt from ACT inlets and exhaust components

Want better breathing for your V8? TVR Power now stocks ACT twin and triple trumpets, manifolds and more.

ACT systems offers better throttle response, increases breathing at top end especially, but also increases torque throughout the rev range, "very good value bhp per pound". The kit comes with alloy 45mm trumpet, while the triple system offers more tuning potential, such as stage 4 tuning for a 5.3-litre engine.

Prices

  • ACT Twin System (top pic) including trumpet base from £995.00 + VAT (Standard & Carbon Fibre)
  • ACT Triple System (middle pic) including Trumpet base from £1,345.00 + VAT (Standard & Carbon Fibre)
  •  ACT Performance manifold system for Griffith  and Chimaera, consisting of manifolds, down pipes or cats, Y collector (bottom pic).
  • ACT performance manifolds from £795.00 + VAT (Cat & Non-Cat)
  • ACT performance manifolds with sports exhaust from £1285.00 + VAT
  • ACT cats only from £295.00 + VAT (Cat & Non-Cat)

Mmmmmmmmm - carbon bits.

Is there anyone else apart from me who, if money was no object, wouldn't actually care if the ACT triple throttle body carbon plenum didn't even add 1 bhp or 1 lb ft but would have it anyway?

I may be alone in this , but I actually think the new exhaust system is a work of art .

Agree on the carbon bits looking the dogs danglies, however I'd like to think they'd giveyou something, mostly torque hopefully.

Oh I'm sure they do. I wasn't for one minute suggesting they didn't.

I was just asking who else wouldn't actually care if they didn't.

Had a chat with Tim yesterday about these and while I know the twin is the sensible choice the triple setup just looks too good. Just a question of whether it goes on the car this year or next (also contemplating which cam option I should go for). Nice job ACT!

Steve.

Had a change of plans and may need to divert the funds elsewhere, so I'm holding off for a bit. Was hoping I might catch you at Racing Green Jon. Are you still working in the smoke?

Steve.
