Hi Guys,

Motorvation Motorsport - Excellent work, excellently priced and at last my cars sorted!!!

Took the Chimarea in this morning for them to attempt to fix the hunting problem that I have been having for the past 6 months+. I thought after x3 attempts by TVR main dealers who diagnosed faulty ECU's, Lambda sensors, Temp Sensors, Replacement fuse box required and as always the stepper motor. I thought I would give it to a specialist to have a look at.

And with only a few hours of playing with Motorvation Motorsport this morning it’s sorted. They checked sensors, idles, resoldered the originally poorly fitted ECU chip, checked voltages and emissions etc. They finally found that the fault was a broken connection with the sensor return lead, they were able to fix this very quickly and set the engine up correctly and then put it on the rolling road and informed me of by BHP etc..

I was present the entire time with the guys while they did the work and was very impressed by the knowledge, years of experience and expertise that they had. Their top man there ‘Paul’, has been working with TVR’s for many, many years now and has even worked on the Tuscan race team. These guys are passionate about TVR’s and have owned and loved them themselves.

I would certainly stick my neck out and recommend these guys for fault fixing, servicing and any repairs (but not bodywork since I don’t think this is something they are into yet). Much cheaper than main dealer and these guys don’t employ spotty stupid mechanics to work on your pride and joy, but skilled craftsmen.

Give them a go.

Want to email me offline with your BHP figures? I'll send you mine in reply tomorrow evening.

Why offline? I'm sure we'd all like to know.

So long as it doesn't start the perennial debate about TVR's stated & actual BHPs, of course.

I would say that I wasn't unhappy with the figure. But as you guys know, it's not how fast or how much BHP you've got under foot but how you drive it.

Or, indeed, who you have in the passenger seat.
