Speed Six & Emerald ecu

No SP6 cars have been done .. I'm reluctant to get involved with the SP6 cars for obvious reasons, but if there's enough interest I could get them to do one car (maybe yours?) for evaluation. The AJP8 ECUs are selling like hot cakes so maybe the SP6 market is one I shouldn't be so eager to let slip by.

Just out of interest, does the factory tune the map to each car that comes off the production line, or do they just stick in a pre-programmed map?
Ha ha ha ha, the factory tuning every car indivdually. What do you think this is, a hand built sports car? Methinks they chuck in the std ECU/program, if it starts and runs up the trading estate and back without letting go and the wipers and horn work then the car gets shipped to the dealer (that's how it was pre-Moleskins anyway).
Seriously though, later Speed Sixes are much smoother and less temperamental than early engines, which is what the question above refers to. (IME, the Speed Six in my car is very smooth).

At least they bothered to make the effort. If it wasn't for my mum telling me how good looking I am I'd start to worry

yeah I've said that on a few occasions.
There was one cerbera once that was so bad that i refused to work on it and asked the owner to take it away and never tell anyone it'd been anywhere near my workshop!!
It had been a repaired damaged car, was so badly repaired it was dangerous, one piston was clipping a spark plug, it had what looked like an Escort Mk1 fuel tank in the boot and was generally a complete dog. God knows where it is now, i just knew I had to get it out of the workshop before anyone saw it!
Firtunately the vast amjority of cars are well loved, sound examples
