Have 1 or 2 small stonechips that i want to touch up on my car. Does anyone know were i can buy one from?
Last two touch-up "sticks" I had were just £12 each.
Go along to your local independant back street auto factors, most towns have them, or a local bodyshop and 100ml of paint in a pot shouldn't cost more than £10
It's not like TVR invented Rosso Pearl, it's metalic red is it not
I imagine it's a Rover colour or something, you really need to have the paint matched to the car, as if it's older than 6 months the paint will be faded and 'new' Red will be brighter than your old red, a good paint specialist will be able to account for this when he mixes the paint
Just take along your handbook the paint code he'll need is on the 1st few pages

I agree a body shop should be able to "spray" a match, but putting it in a bottle for touch-up paint is probably a little more difficult where base coat, and coloured lacquer are involved.
When I phoned them up I was inquiring about a little scratch on the door that I was hoping that they could 'blow in', rather than getting 'touch-up'. They told me it would need an entire respray and anybody that said that they could do it, basically couldn't. They were not the only bodyshop that said this to me either, one more did.
I not professing I know anything about it, just passing on comments.
I really hope it can be done, then I will get my scratch done.

I will give him a call, cheers. The other bodyshops worried me a bit, saying that you will get people saying that they can do it, but they will f
k it up. Grouch.
Could anyone post the paint codes for the appropriate layers in Pearlescant rosso please?
It's probably in your owners handbook, or factory service manual.
I have a kit car that's nearing completion. Pearlescant Rosso is definately the colour I've set my little heart upon and for the record, it's not a colour that's used by any other car manufacturer.
Cheers,
