Spray - Imperial blue, which one!

Looking to get one or two panels re-sprayed, having recently purchased a MK1 Tuscan in Imperial blue. Having done a bit of searching on the forum it seems that there are several imperial blues that tvr used. Does anyone know any way of finding out which one?! Is there a chassis code that can be search or something similar? Don’t particularly want a two tone spray job if the painter gets it wrong!

No help Im afraid but the code was pointless on my Chims last outing to the paint shop. I think there are 3 versions, in the end they just had to try each one in turn to find the match. Pain in the arse.

This was a long time ago though, I think nowadays they have machines that can colour scan existing paint and make up a batch to match regardless of the paint code.

I could only see two Imperial Blue's on the paint code sticky, seems to be much less variation than other colours. You have checked the paint code on the VIN plate I assume ? Mine does match what is in the tables.

Anybody needing help with paint colours please post the Body Code which is on the same plate as the chassis no.
