I fancy putting a Tuscan Racer in the stable, anyone want to trade for a 500HC Chimaera?

Fancy a bit more excitement.

For 90% of the time, won't the Chim be the better car. Proper (TVR) roof, heater, secure boot for touring, stereo, over speed bumps etc?

I would agree with this, have owned a road going Tuscan myself, fantastic fun for the first couple of months but the rain will soon get you down.
Over 400bhp per ton is great fun though, and should be experienced at least once in your life
Maybe you should borrow one??

Do you intend to race it once you have one?

David Gerald had a Tuscan racer on display at the Autosport show.

He's also got a Griff specced for racing on his website,

Have a look Here

Thanks for the info although a couple of the emails I have had sound like it could be a big financial burder!

I don't think that's right. The financial pitfall is in buying a bad one and having to throw at lot of cash at it to get it how you want. I know of at least one Scotsman in this position

Get a half decent one and provided you aren't doing loads of miles in it (which you won't), it should not cost you lots of money.
