Just got some new R1r's, they're stinking the kitchen out.
The guy at the tyre fitting place didn't know where the light spot goes, just want to check that it's next to the valve?

The yellow dot indicates the tyres light point on it's balance and should be fitted adjacent to the tyre valve, that is the wheels heaviest point and will help reduce the amount of balance weights needed. In reality however it makes little difference on a quality tyre. A budget one however probably won't even be marked.
