best tyre dressing?

Just wondered which product people found to be the best.
Doesnt matter how much you polish the car if the tyres dont shine then the whole looks ruined.
Ive used halfords wet look tyre dressing but would only describe the finished look as average and it doesnt stay onto long either.

autoglym tyre dresser is good.

I work (albeit briefly) as a car valeter. We used something only ever referred to as tyre slick.

Lovely result, lasted ages as well.

Best, and easiest I've ever found is Armour All Tyre Foam.

Simply spray on and walk away, even makes muddy tyres look like new.

I use turtle wax extreme tyre gel.

Its a gel, so its easier to apply, and lasts longer than a spray.

I personally use the Autoglym Tyre Dresser. Easy to apply with a cloth, good shine, and lasts well.
Also any smearing left on your rims wipes off easily.

LOL, tell me about it!!! We had out drive tarmac'd last year, looks lovely, apart from the 'ghost' footprits of my tyres where I applied this bloody stuff!!!

Make sure you get a water based one, if you dont and use it frequently it cracks the walls of the tyres.

Turtle wax extreme gel works for me too, I put it on with a 1" paintbrush which makes it really easy to get into the writing on the sidewall.

I've tried Autoglym...very good.
I've tried Armour....easy and good.
Now I use Maguires Tyre gel...lasts longer than the rest by far, even after washing its still there. Apply with a sponge, residue wipes off, job done!

Another vote for Turtlewax Extreme Tyre Gell.
If you don't like the "wet" look, you rub it over with a dry cloth after a minute or two for nice matte jet-black rubber.

Another Turtle Wax Extreme tyre gel user, its very good and lasts well.

But I have seen MrSheens car when hes valeted it and I must say the tyres look shinier than the shiniest thing you can imagine only shinier..!! I dont know how long it lasts though!!

My ex-gf of time gone, used to wear it on her legs, and her legs went from a dull dry look, to a gleaming smooth finish - and it lasted right through to a heavy shower.... so I was just relaxing in the back garden one time, admiring the sun and the calm breeze... went 'eureka' had the idea... so just tried it out for some reason.... and it worked! the tyres glistened and smelt geourgous! everywhere I went, my car smelt like exotic coconut... ok maybe that was probably because I got it all over my hands and neck and back whilst stretching my bones etc (you know how it is, get on your knees for a while and you get all cramped up)

Someone else I know, reckons that you can use that new hairgel that doesnt dry to a crisp, ontop of your polish to get a HUGE deep gloss finish... aint tried that one yet, but will let you know when I get her back and try it out
