I've had thumbs up, waves, coffee beans, V's and middle fingers whilst driving the Tuscan.

Today whilst tootling though a small town near me to collect my son, I got a thumbs down from a biker!

Annoyingly I noticed too late to flip him the bird, but he was on some stty touring thing which looked liked a london messengers st-cycle so I didn't get too upset! wink

Would have been gutted if it was someone on a Harley, or something else nice!

Just sharing a new experience!

Have a good TVR weekend all!

There are a lot of jealous people around, if the truth be known most people would love a tvr, they just haven't got the balls

The coffee beans,V's and middle finger really surprises me and a thumbs down is unreal to read.

I'm on TVR No 3 and have never received any of these EVER.

Don't let it get you down though, you are driving one of the most beautiful and different looking cars built from that era and could go as far to say of all time at the price.

Have a few of these to balance out the blind idiot on the bike thumbupthumbupthumbup

Had the car in at work yesterday. Started it as the new admin girl walked past to her car and she jumped. Today said she just watched it leave, then stayed and listened for 5 mins until she couldn't hear it... biggrin

Bikers are a strange breed any way, enjoy the car. You are part of the privileged few.

The thumbs down signal used to be the standard for warning about a speed tap, police presence etc… up ahead.

He may have been trying to save your license!!

I know an Asda truck driver did the same thing many years ago which meant I kept mine!!

Happy TVRing!! driving

Oh! I had no idea about the speed trap super secret signal!

Didn't see any old Bill, but turned off the road fairly soon anyway.

I've learned something today!

Why would you want to take notice of a sweaty bloke who wears leather and likes to hang around with other sweaty blokes?
If he was coming towards you then as above…Scamera van alert…..
Bikers are usually petrol heads..even if they do have questionable habits.

wink

Sod em, driving back from Cornwall today and the missus said its like being famous with the amount of people taking photos, staring and waving....

Still surprises me how many youngsters are so keen on TVR's. It can only be good.

Definitely the police speed trap warning as I genuinely can't imagine a biker showing that level of disrespect to be honest as they normally like all things speed

Hmmmm I am a biker but certainly not a sweaty one ! The technology in clothing has moved on :-) anyway doubt it was an insult may have been warning you about something ? I usually warn fellow tvr and exotic drivers of speed traps with the Jim Davidson gesture hand on helmet Nick Nick
That's something else you have learnt :-)

Certainly am. Usually I'm the idiot waving and the drivers wondering what the heck.
I need to get a sticker for the bike 'my other ride is a tvr'.

I'm still amazed how much of a good reaction the S gets from people of all ages.

Driving through Leytonstone in East London the other week and within the space of a couple of minutes three people said "Nice car!".

Think that was a new record. hehe
