Has anyone any experience of dealings with these guys? A mate of mine asked as they have a few cars he likes the look of so said I'd put the feelers out for him...

Thanks in advance!

Yes.

Ummmm. Make sure your eyes are wide open.

Exporting a car is a good way to clear an insurance marker.

I looked and didn't buy there. Others have, I'd check cars twice at least.

due to high value of sterling they have stopped buying cars in uk so any tvrs they have are there long time !
Wheeler dealers bought a BMW Z1 needing a bit of work off them and it ended well ! They get terrible reviews but not all their cars can be bad.

Agreed.

But there are a lot of Cat C/D cars there.

For a dealer.

But at least they now list them as such.

Not that it means much to a European buyer.....

yes agreed , love to be able to read non English forums about them also ! they seem fairly transparent when it comes to uk buyers but damaged repaired cars are treated differently in mainland Europe. At least the Tvrs are well prices compared to some of the slow selling stock. Find their business model very interesting ( all types of vehicles bought worldwide) but its definitely buyer beware.

I guess it's OK if you plan to gut the car and start again, I suppose.

In german forums they have almost a bad or even very bad reputation. But as always: Lots of people talk bad without knowledge. I was there two times to watch tvrs. Most are in rather bad condition. For example one of both 350 has no history I think. I was very interested in the green sagaris times ago... but bought a different one (which is every day pleasure now for me). They do not talk about going down with the price or just a very little. They also do not repair or service the cars. Cars go out as they come in. But you can check the cars as much as you are able to do. They are not in a hurry and very friendly at last. If you look five minutes, it is okay. If you look five hours it is okay too.
Indeed they have a lot of cat C/D cars. I think it is a part of there business idea: They want to sell special cars by the cheapest price in europe.

Problem is they never used to list them as damaged.

I only realised when I went to look at a car and did some digging.

They tend to be auction cars looking to be flipped at retail.

as already said Wheeler dealers bought BMW Z1 off them , Target now have a large no. of these for sale but seem to be struggling to sell them. At least their prices are more realistic than likes of 4star or Hexagon but their reputation must be putting plp off !

if you love russian-roulette buy a tvr there even when they are cheap first, if you like value for your money, take time and look after others.
