Right, now I got your attention....

I need to get new wheels.... the rears need to be 18/13J and the fronts 18/9J

Please, pretty please, what wheels would you suggest????? it doesnt matter if they dont do the sizes, I'll get custom one-offs made and foot the bill.... but I want the best looking/suiting wheels for the phoenix when she's out...

Heres a side shot of her, so the photoshoppers amongst you can do the works....

Seriously need everyones input, so that the wheels we all finally decide on, will go on, and everyone is happy....

Right, heres a side shot of her:

Thanks!!!!

A set of 10 inch minilites should do the trick. It'll accelerate quick too (up to 50mph).

James, awesome!

DB9 Black chromes look incredible! is there a more sharper picture of the wheel available?>????

Afraid that I just took a standard DB9 wheel (the blurry one above), and tweaked the brightness, contrast, and intensity to give the impression of a black chrome one. Was having trouble finding a true side-on picture of one. Basically the following in black chrome (it's just a paint effect, after all):

I had those on the NSX. The clean lines made them look a lot larger than they were.

These look very nice!

The MSR 122 look like the new BMW M3 wheels so not for me I'm afraid.

And as for the Khans I did like them till I saw a few poor looking maxers with them on and then three 4x4's at Thruxton wearing them so that was it for me!

Try www.tvrmotion.co.uk for the wheels they can get all sorts of sizes I know they've done 13" wide one on the rear of a T350 last year.

Prefer those to the ASAs.

But I think that bling wheels with bling paint aren't really the way to go (those SLRs being the exception). What're your thoughts with paint/detailing, Ash... Leaving the paint job as-is & no/decals on the bonnet? (Cerb) Speed 12 front end? Rear diffuser? The wheels should match the car. Personally, I'd go for more of a Speed 12 body, with a more subtle paint job (Rolex blue would look phenomenal, chameleon blue if you REALLY have to be fancy as it's subtle for a flip job), and then some bright silver/black chrome wheels. Nothing with great, thick slabs of metal, something a bit more... delicate, maybe. "Poise" I think is the word, actually.

I see where you're coming from, and I totally agree... we'll keep looking at designs... the sides of the car wont change... the rear most likely will get some custom boot with spoiler and big box diffusers underneath at some point... the front will just open up hence why I'm basing it on the side view... they got to look right on the sides...

Tried getting in touch with Carisma to see if there's any chance of the front-end/something off that?

Would be looking for some subtle side-skirts, too, if I were you...

(Would replace that silver gauze with black, tho)

I'll have a go, sure.

Ash, do you have pic of your car at about the same angle as the ASA's.... would look much better Photoshopped. difficult to loose the angle on an object with such depth.
