Please excuse my idiocy here but several track days without any insurance, or competition car cover I am about to change to Sunninghill as they have put in a competitive quote and cover trackdays ...

Does this qualify as a member of ATDO (Assoc. of Track Day Org.) or ARDS (assoc. of racing driving schools) ...

I've decided, correctly that to risk the Griffith on track without insurance is beyond rational thought ... and therefore I need to know to decide whether I attend or not.

Cheers

Because it's a TVRCC Track day, I suspect you'll find that you will be covered FOC. I used to be with Sunninghills and it was never a problem for them. Call them and let them know & I think they make a note on your file (BTW your Excess will increase to £1,000).

I sent off my booking today, so should see you there, come find me, a Starmist Green Cerb with the Number Plate....

Keith,

If I come I will do for definite .... I've seen that plate before, somewhere.

I've been along for the last 2 years, but only for lifts and it's about time I drove what was my home track !

Johno,

To answer your question, the TVRCC was one of the founding members of the ATDO (Assoc. of Track Day Org.) and adheres to a comprehensive code of conduct.

I know I know ........

But with Sunninghill's coming in competitive and covering track days it means that my P&J can go back on track ...

Balanced engine, Nitrons and AP 4 pots .... what did you expect I was going to do given the right chance !!

Spa would be superb, but it's too dear for me this year ... already booked 2 long weekends away in France for this year and there's more coming.

Are you going to come along and do your 1st day, they usually have instructors at the City Track day and along with me there will be plenty of people full of good advice.

Snetterton is only really tricky in 2 places, bomb hole and corum curve, along with the braking after it for Russell's ... other than that it is huge fun ...
