Give the guy a break.
If it is his car, it's just that, HIS car and he can have it specd how he likes,
doesn't mean that future production models will also be styled that way.
I'm sure if we all had his money, we'd all try some radical things on our machines
that others here would also want to
over.

I would consider the front light cluster conversion on my car, this would stop the currently uncurable condensation problem a few of us are experiencing
This, believe it or not, was/is a major MGTF prob (condensation in lights), Not only did I hate driving this car, but I had to put up with a fish tank effect in the light housings too, on a brand new car! I am pretty sure there are quite a few other cars that have this prob, usually effects the larger style light housings.
My names Greg from Newlundesign ,thought I should let everyone know the truth behind the car you are so kindley slating;
The car you are looking at is a prototype car it has been designed for track days, the picture is an old one and the front mr wheelers tash as u so kindly put has changed(admittedley as design oversight).
The front of the car has been widened to house two intercoolers and acts as a diffuser to push wind round the car.
It has four intakes feeding the brakes for cooling.
The grills on the side wings are for letting the wind trapped in the wheel arches out.
To house these outlets the whole car has been widened,
side skirts have been added to stop wind getting under the car.
Wings on the back are fully ajustable and a frame has been placed in the back to take the strain.
The whole interior is carbon and the engine is being surpercharged by tvr power ,so a different bonnett had to be made to give us the room and for extra cooling.
When customizing a car for the use of track days etc, it is impossable to maintain the shape of the original car ,tvr's are very hard to work with due to their curves and styling, but the whole aim of this car was to make it more stable at high speed and better cooling.
It is not being built with production in mind and Nic is not changing the look of tvr he has had nothing to do with the car.
It should be looked at as a prototype and an experimental car.
The fact is in testing at high sped the car is planted and very stable(170 plus)no problems with brakes or cooling.
I realise people feel strongley about changing tvrs and believe me i'm the biggest fan, but in person the car does actually look really good and will look well placed on a track.
I hope this might help shed some light on this matter and will be happy to comment further.
One last thing i don't understand all the hating on Nic, what a lot of you forget is tvr under wheeler was broke, we couldn't get bits ,engines blowing up leaving us big bills, i've been stung myself. He has put millions of his own money into trying to sort all the problems out he inherited, but this takes time and already the speed 6 is much better and parts are arriving quicker.

Thanks for clearing it up Greg,i think everyone thought it was the new T350 hence the concern.
It's a one off car for the track, you like it and it also sounds like it will perform well on the track. From the pics it looks like the quality of workmanship is fantastic, any chance of some more updated pics ?

I hope it
puts the lid on the future production design bashing.
I don't think it will for a moment Graham.
Can't you remember the comments when the Saggy Arse first made an appearance.
People will always have an opinion on design...it's one of the main reasons, apart from finance, as to whether we would buy the car...or not.
Had the coversation this morning, with me saying I liked the Audi TT and my son saying that he really doesn't like it at all....
Can't please everyone...thank goodness....or we'd all be driving the same car....
P.S.....see is you can make the April meet in your diary Graham...should be good.

Totally appreciate the engineering effort gone into it; if it's designed as a track special/whatever, then great. Personally, I think it looks gopping, though.
Re. the last bit (without wanting to see this thread degenerate), the "suspicion" (not "hating", in my case at least) when it comes to Nic is that the "engines blowing up leaving us big bills" problem has been made worse, not better, since the removal of any form of "goodwill" in the price charged for sorting out what's their fault...
