Chassis refurb, would you have done anything different?

As per title really, powdercoat rather than POR15, 2 pack instead of powdercoat?
Despite getting a fresh MOT today, the outriggers need doing, badly. Poking with a screwdriver reveals that the top is rotted out despite a look underneath and all appearing well. Old story I know but just goes to show what can`t be seen...
The insurance is up for renewal next week, so time is right to SORN and do whatever needs to be done.
I plan to separate body and chassis in the next couple of weeks, have it blasted and see what falls off!
New outriggers are a given, but then what? Zinc coat, galvanize, powdercoat, 2 pack epoxy, POR15 ?
There are enough cars now that had a chassis refurb a few years ago and I`m interested to know what the post op feelings are. What did you do/have done and what do you regret or think it was the best thing you have done. Pro`s and cons of what you went for.

Well my honest opinion of powder coat is if its done well it will last this is 4 years old now with a layer of epoxy resin on top. If l could choose again l would have gone spray galvanised first then powder coat good luck with your choices.

Most coatings are pretty good today, its the prepartion and repair that need attention.
Get your chassis really well blasted, cut out all rot completely and replace, then reblast before coating.
I also drill strategic holes in the chassis rail sections, fill it with old oil and turn the chassis over and around for a few days to line the inside of the tubes with oil, then plug the holes with grommets, for future top ups.
As for outriggers, change them for stainless steel if you can.

Some tubing was seamed!
Replaced all with new seamless.
Not sure about later cars but there was a serious lack of chassis stiffness so added gussets to reduce flexing.
Other mod's added as can be seen in images below.
