Long shot ????

I already know this is a Looooooong shot, but does any one have a spare speedo sensor for a rover box?
Just thought I would try before ordering a new one.

The car seems to drive normally , could this be the case if the ECU isnt recieving any pulses?

Hoping .....

don't have one. try ebay.

rover V8 box speed sensor.

could be if no speedo, but ecu didn't receive pulses untill around '96, so not definite.

I see, so not all cars recieve the pulses to the ECU.

Right , just ordered one yesterday,(from David Gerald, and got it this morning ).

It turns out mine it the rarer 8 pulse version, the one I have recieved it a 4 pulse.
The details on them are TES2405-2001 (4 pulse)and TES2805-2001 (8 pulse).

I wonder again does any one have an 8 pulse knocking around , maybe bought in error?????
