The real japanese TVR is the Yamaha Sports Ride Concept, since it features an iStream Chassis. ;-)

As far as the Mazda is concerned. Really nice, flowing lines, good proportions. Like it. But why in the size of a mid-size estate? This is a stretched GT rather than a sports car, which I would like to see as a legitimate heir of a RX-8. All these super-size me cars lately are really bothering me to be honest. And then they start making a GT3 Version out of it...

I doubt if the Japanese could build anything like a TVR.

After I sold my Chimaera I got a Nissan 350z, it's not so different to the TVR

Lovin' the Yamaha concept

Reminds me of a Viper, and with side exhausts like the new TVR will have.

Funnily enough, when I saw this I thought TVR.

If the new TVR looks as good, or hopefully better, it will be on to a winner.

Nissan = mass produced in large numbers on a production line in an environment where consistent quality control is everything. TVRs were built slightly differently.

Beautiful in Soul Red, that really is a nice colour.

As for size, one really should read the article
Speaking of proportions, its clever design cues might make it appear bigger than it actually is. In fact, measuring 4,389mm long, 1,925mm wide and 1,160mm tall the RX-VISION is smaller than the RX-8, albeit wider.

so 14 foot 5 long, hardly big

Liking that, if the new TVR is that and some then I'm going to be very happy.

Looks great, but I wouldn't want to have to use that boot for anything larger than a briefcase.

350z = 300BHP, RWD, distinctive styling, 2 seats; same as, most, TVR's
But I take your point thumbup

Ok, you got me there. I was just looking at the pictures and was maybe deceived by its proportions. But it at least looks like a big beast. ;-)

Interestingly when you look at the centre tub there's no structure between the front and rear roof lines excepting the door opening frame. I suppose it'll make it easier to have a targer version.
