Finally took the vandalisation hit and feel good!

Car has been happily sat outside my girlfriend's house for a week awaiting me taking it to have some repairs done. No problem. In fact never had a problem in 4 year - just some spitting on the windscreen - quite lucky really.
Car returns from repairs and is running better than ever. Me very happy goes to bed - car is right outside front of house and our bedroom window is open.
Get up to go to to work and take an admiring glance at my P&J to see something metallic sticking up on the bonnet. Closer look indicates a failed attempt to have my badge away - As they couldn't get that off they made sure they signed off on my bonnet.
Why? after I'd just spent a load of money on it? Do they know somehow? Very odd indeed.
Now for me it's quite humbling because I own something that has driven somebody to so much jealousy that they have had to stoop to those depths.
In effect it's me that sent them there. I was rattled for about 10mins on my way to work but after one call to Leven my badge problem will be sorted and a call to chips away and my scratch will be sorted. I'm happy again - is scrote still jealous? I think so.
I won't sell it, I'll drive it more and harder - to show who ever it was that I pass at the bus stop that I won.

Ah, if only it were that simple. I'm sure the scrotes that keyed my bottom-of-the-range, dirty, well-worn 206 weren't doing it through jealousy...

you are right. when the badly brought up people spat on my car i just thought "you still have your shitmobile, i still have this gorgeous car."

Unfortunatley because of the current state the law is in, the first thing I wouldn't be doing if I caught them is ringing the police.

True, and every situation and motive is different but in this case the evidence points to them wanting my badge, but because they couldn't get it - in a sense I had won, so they wanted their money's worth.
Ah well, never mind - I still have my health.

There is a lady on trail in the Netherlands for killing a guy who took her purse. He and his friends came on scooters and took the purse out of the car while she was in it.
