I have monitored this site for a long time in order to understand the needs, dreams, wishes and frustrations of TVR fans. I am still bound by legal contract not to disclose confidentiall information however I can confirm that I was in discussion with PW for a long time about the acquisition of TVR.
TVR I see as a company with great potential in the right hands, I wanted it to remain as a British, Nich market, high value added company with world wide distribution. For all its good points it was not acceptable that TVR had such a poor quality standing and it is not acceptable that the company currently has such a poor understanding of its customer base and customer requirements.
I was only a few weeks away from completing the deal when it was sold to the current incumbant who in my opinion knows as much about commercial opportunity as he does customer service!!
I wish you well in your dreams and will continue to monitor your thoughts, Who knows, these things have a habit of coming round again.

The new cars coming out of the factory are of v.high finish, this means what then? not addressing what you said in your post? Better quality cars means less hassle from your clients? no? i think they are going the right way!

What a coincidence! Last week I almost bought Buckingham Palace from a bloke in the pub.

Nearly did the deal but while I went for a pi55 he sold it to another bloke for ten quid more.

Not to worry, he said he can get hold of Windsor Castle for me by next week. Brilliant!
