'Blending' fobs

I have a meta alarm fob, standard with my Chimaera. I also have a Carl Baker remote boot release, using a meta fob (but much newer).

The newer fob has two buttons.

Does anyone know if its possible to re-programme the newer fob to do both the alarm and the boot release?

Alternatively can I get a standard alarm fob to do both?

In the longer term I would like to emulate this thread:

However at the moment I am struggling to see how I could get both units into the same fob, so need to unify them.

Any ideas?
