TVR specialist holds open day
V8 Sports & Classics opens its doors this weekend
Scottish TVR Specialist V8 Sports and Classics will stage its annual open day this Saturday 19 February from 12 noon until 5pm.
Last year's event attracted over 100 visitors from all over Scotland and the north of England, and with lots to see. V8 expects an even bigger turnout this weekend. As before, tea, coffee and hot food will be served throughout the day.
TVR
TVR enthusiasts will be well catered for, with current restorations on Chimaera and S4c to see as well as upgrade options on all models featuring brakes, Nitron dampers and ACT carbon fibre induction systems.
V8s championship winning TVR race cars will also be available to inspect, and multiple TVRCC Challenge Champion, Simon Bowes, will be on hand to chat and answer questions about the Series and the fastest race Griffith on the grid.
Lotus and Aston Martin
Having enjoyed looking after a number of models in the past, V8 has decided to turn its attention to Lotus and Aston Martin. It will be taking on all Lotus work, from the classic Elan to the latest Elise, and the Aston Martin classic DB and V8 models. Owners lucky enough to drive an Aston or a Lotus are welcome to come along on Saturday as well.
V8 Sports & classics can be found half an hour from Edinburgh city centre at Fenton Barns Industrial Estate, Drem, Near Haddington, East Lothian. From Haddington, just follow the V8 signs.
