Hi all

So the re build continues along and my wallets gets lighter!

Anyway I need new drop links are there any views on any of the suppliers available?
I can buy std TVR parts from TVR power, but they are really not great and for a few £ more can get upgrades there are a few about though they looks strikingly similar and cost the same

Racerechdirect
TVR parts

Or PPC TVR – aka leven these though are twice the price so £200 instead of £100,

Or VTautomotive

http://vtautomotive.com/shop/tvr/cerbera-s6/tvr-ch... but from reading an exposed rose joint is not a long term solution as dirt enters and the joint will fail

I will buy a full kit as they are all knackered!

Any thoughts, there was a lot of talk about the Steve Heath versions, but he is not trading any longerfrown

There was also a link about using Mondeo and Civic versions but they are a faff and not a straight fit, and I have got enough issues to deal with building back up from a bare chassis!

I think my money is on the Racetech / TVR parts but always willing to look at others. My car is 1999 Griff 500

Thanks in advance Al

If it helps, my experience of the front Leven ones is they are bullet proof

Don't know what yours look like, but I made my own. Each is composed of one male, and one female thread rose joint.

Best regards,
Bernard.

I bought the TVR Part uprated ones when they first came out to replace Steve Heath ones that has started to rattle. Been fitted ever since with no problems, if I remember rightly getting the fronts on was a bit of a struggle, had to fit both sides loosely before tightening up.

My Steve Heath ones seized up due to no protection I replaced the joints with stainless ones and added boots for protection. No problems since. I did email Steve Heath at the time but was he was about to stop production of his items.
