Rolling Road results - interpretation?

I took my Tuscan down to the kind people at Autocraft SVE (Salisbury)today, and they tested it on their rolling road. The purpose was to see if there were any problems. They performed a fairly standard protocol (running it flat-out in 4th (ie 1:1 gearing approx), and gave me the printout that can be seen at: http://image.pbase.com/u46/rjosborne/large/39907584.RollingRoadResult.jpg
They told me this was a perfectly satisfactory result, but I'd be interested in other people's interpretation. Incidentally, it cost £50. They are the people who are currently inundated with requests for refurbishment of finger followers as a result of the claim that they have a sure fix - we didn't go into that!

"Power run, power and torque print out - £45.00 + VAT (£35 for repeat customers)"

Guess with VAT you're looking at around 50.
The power-curve is very interesting....
(must be fun to drive with a climb like that...
guess thats why the sales jargon used to say "the speed 6 engine is only warming up at 4000rpm"

Hmm... Bogie got a similar reading recently at some other very well calibrated rolling road:

wierdest graph i've ever seen .. you never actually saw maximum power .. it's still climbing at the end there (ignore the *blip* right at the end tho, something strange with the coast down run?) .. but it's almost as if it took a flash reading at 2500 and one at 7500 and drew a traight line between the two. I've never seen a graph that smooth and straight before except maybe on an electric motor...
Somebody posted an almost identical graph last year, I wonder if it came from the same place?
It doesn't look at all right for a conventional engine. The power and torque figures are consistent with each other, but that torque curve is just wierd and not really believable.
I wonder if there's something wrong with their rolling road, either the mechanism or the sensor used to measure torque sticking/failed.
If their road produces results like this all the time, no wonder they say it's normal. But the results are *obviously* screwed so I'm surprised that trained engineers would accept them at face value. Perhaps they know and don't care, they've made their £50.

Just had a glance at their web site. Their 'rolling road' looks like a wind tunnel to me, complete with moving ground plane. Confused? You bet. Perhaps their web master should check it's the right picture. They don't say who the web master is, but I think I recognise the style.

This is all very interesting. CAn someone post another example of a rolling road test graph for comparison. I certainly wondered about the "evenness" and overall shape of the curves compared with what I'd seen in review articles in magazines etc.
Anyway, nothing ventured.... £45 + VAT for an afternoon out in Salisbury and a great drive up there wasn't too bad. At least I avoided the fate of the one other TVR they said they'd tested - apparently the clutch exploded on the rig!

I've seen their rolling-road graph in operation, it literally does draw the line as you push the throttle down... there was some mention of interpolation to remove rolling-road noise, I dont know....
I believe the software is by Storm Engineering, and is calibrated by the same chaps that do most of the countries rolling roads...
But like Joospeed said, it looks like a point to point kind of line.... who knows, I've been on a number of rolling roads with my past rides and they all very much plotted weird curvy or straight lines, apart from the cossie which had a few *blips*, but generally speaking smooth graphs which didnt match up with most everyone elses bumps and jumps..... must be some configuration in the software, best bet is to give them a ring and see what they say, they probably could give you a different print out with all the noise????
