Many of you will know Darrens (DJR) Sagaris convertible that is well featured here and in Sprint. Rumour has it he is thinking of selling it - how much do you think I should offer him?????

It has been on sale before and was then taken down. Was up at £40k from memory but no takers.

Stunning car but putting a value on it is difficult. it is very much a car that you really want to have because the pool for buyers of such cars, at such high price points is limited at best.

It is a bloody good looking car though!!

All depends on which car it is based. I haven't looked at previous threads, but if its a Tuscan, then Tuscan money, if a Tamora then Tamora money, if a Sagaris then Sagaris money - all IMHO.

This is my stepsons car,I will pass no biased comments about it whatsoever but.......
Whatever the asking or offering price is it won't in anyway reflect the build cost that Darren put into the car, rest assured that all works he had done would have been to the highest standards done by tvr people at the top of the game using only the best parts and materials available
You can have stunning looking cars on the surface but under the skin the gremlins are lurking, Darren would never accept the gremlins and as far as possible they would have been built out even if it meant additional costs his acceptance of 2nd rate would not be there.
I don't know the car intimately but I have driven it,it's a sorted planted car that would want for nothing
As for values, depends what you are looking for,you could look at a genuine sag and depending on expectations spend a pile bringing it up to your requirements,or a car like this that is about as right as you can probably get
Just my thoughts,if you know the guy then his persona if reflected in the car

I am not a Sag or T car owner, but we all have to be honest and say that the build quality from the factory wasn't great. If you have a low mileage car that has been untouched apart from regular servicing and sorting out small niggley jobs we get with our cars, now compare it to a possible cat D car that has had a comprehensive rebuild by a TVR specialist with quality parts. Again TVR' from the factory were regarded as parts bin raiders. Surely the Cat D rebuild car with no expense spared will be better quality?

It's probably the best conversion I've seen. Lovely example and great finish smile I understand the point about Tuscan and Tuscan price, however it's not, it's had a lot of investment and it's a one of a kind. I doubt anyone will suggest a price as Darren is a regular on here, will undoubtedly read this and therefore the questions, a little well, you know lol.

Ultimately go see it if you like it, buy it, enjoy it, the value is in the smile and you'll only ever get positive comments imo.

That's John's car. Don't think he will ever look to see it unless very rare circumstances.

Darren's car is a great looker and I understand why he flirts with selling it.

It was deleted by the mods.
The car is now advertised in the for sale section under the Tuscan heading.

I am happy to answer any questions, may I respectfully ask that only serious enquires be made, as many of you will know I had this car up for sale a while back, I accepted an offer and unfortunately the prospective purchaser couldn't raise the funds.

Yes Certainly does not reflect the money spent on it as a car to use and enjoy them fantastic oppertunity as an investment probably not although who really knows.
In 10 years time with another 60 000 Miles then it might not realise what an original car will fetch at that time but certainly looks great fun and something different and who knows where we will be in 10 years time with the new cars coming out etc

Lol, I am good thanks Graham. Just trying to help DJR out as his original post asking how much it was worth was pulled. I see it's advertised now at quite a keen price for what looks like a fantastic recreation. I don't think Mrs R will authorise 3!
Catch you on track this summer?
